It is quite cold, and you are walking slowly through the snow in your very comfortable winter coat. You realise that you are in a place you have never been before. Suddenly, you find yourself standing on the ice of a frozen lake. In the middle, you see a large tree on a small island shrouded in mist and a warm glow from lights . This is strange, you think, but your curiosity gets the better of you and you slowly walk towards it....

Series:Forest Feasts

I often paint people, I love painting people. But I am also in love with nature. For some reason I get very happy walking trough forests in the evening or night. I was inspired by a party I attended. It was very late and nearly all the people left, but the lights where still on giving the forest a warm glow.

I work only with oil paints. I love applying texture while searching for the best possible image and outcome of every painting I make,
