FREISCHÜTZ #2 or THE DREAM is a painting made in honor of annual Bregenz Opera Festival on libretto pages of opera by Carl Maria von Weber. Agathe, young bride, dreams of a white dove being shut by a hunter, but surviving miraculously. Suddenly she understands that she herself is this dove. Her dream becomes a prophecy that although devil is trying to destroy her, he will fail against her pure heart.
Please note, that although the drawing itself is sealed and will stay unchanged, the libretto background will naturally age and might turn very slightly yellowish or brown-shaded with time, which will give an artwork a hint of antique flare.
