"The Blue Daisies" is a painting on cotton canvas stretched over wood in shades of teal blue, bluish white and aniseed umber.

The teal blue is much brighter in real life than in the photos, as cameras struggle to capture this shade.

The canvas was worked with a knife and relief paste before being painted with acrylic and varnished for a glossy finish.
