Original artwork description:

This African elephant was painted quite loosely in cool blue combined with orange. The painting has enough detail but still sports an impressionistic look. I like to depict the leathery skin and wrinkles on these handsome beasts by use of thin layers and lost and found edges.
The colors I use are best quality artist watercolors; vibrant and long lasting. The painting is framed with a slim, smooth black painted wooden frame and is ready to hang.
