“Teal Boundaries” is a large contemporary abstract painting created with layered acrylics and dynamic palette-knife textures. In this piece, I wanted to explore the interplay between movement and structure — the way color can create invisible boundaries and then dissolve them again.

The palette blends deep teal blue, warm earthy brown, charcoal grey, soft beige, and crisp white. Vertical and horizontal strokes intersect across the canvas, creating a sense of depth, direction, and silent tension. Dripping textures, scraping marks and layered opacity give the work a raw, expressive character.

This painting grew from an idea of navigating contrasts — strength and softness, clarity and fragmentation, bold lines and fluid transitions. Each layer carries traces of motion, inviting the viewer to explore the composition gradually, discovering new details with every glance.

It’s a striking statement piece for modern interiors — ideal for large living rooms, loft-style spaces, offices, or elegant hallways where artwork becomes the central element of atmosphere.

The artwork is signed, dated and titled on the reverse and ships in a tube. This method is particularly safe for oversized works and ensures lower transport costs. Rolled works may be easily stretched upon arrival (placed on wooden stretchers for canvases) and/or framed by a local framer.
