Original artwork description:

Bold and earthy abstract that was done with acrylic and mixed media on heavy watercolor paper in varying shades of green, blue, violet and yellow. It is a very energetic piece with layers of expressive mark making.

It is signed on the front and back along with the title and date created.

I name my pieces by what occurred while painting the piece or what popped into my head when the piece is nearly finished. This piece reminded me of looking through the case of a pastry shop...all the powered sugar, and pretty icings, the decorative cakes and yummy pastries. It is a whimsical and playful piece.
