Summer Love
(FLORA'S SECRET series)

This is the 03rd painting of a limited floral series of 07 paintings that I have created from 2022 to 2023. This series have been exhibited in various events in Australia and garnered high level of admiration for their vibrancy in colour and independent personality and mood of the subject matter.

This body of work was not up for sale for couple of years as they were on shows.

The subject is semi self portraiture but highly stylised to a point that they have become surreal figures. But my influence behind these works are the ancient cave temple paintings on frescoes and my grandmother's flower gardens.
Also I am giving my flowers to my childhood memories in the colourful wilderness in tropical Sri Lanka.

These artworks do not have an external wooden frame.
But stretched on canvas, wired at the back and ready for hanging.
If shipping internationally, it will best to get a natural Oak floater framed from your local framer.

This painting will be shipped from the artists Brisbane studio in Australia.
