A Devon hedgerow in summer full of cow parsley, rosebay willow herb and grasses. I am surrounded by these country lanes where I live near Dartmoor, there is always something that catches my eye to paint. Made with lots of layers of paint using brush strokes , dabs and flicks to create texture and give the impression of the wonderful mayhem in the hedge. Painted on a quality 4cm deep edge canvas, the painting continues around the sides. Ready to hang.
