This is another side street view in Newcastle upon Tyne. I love the pleasing contrast of the warm and cool tones here, the stairs mirroring the diagonal divide between the blues and reds. This was another painting that I just got a little lost in. As I painted it, it took on a life of its own, becoming a new world, like this one... but different.
