In this work, the vast stillness of the Sonoran landscape becomes a portal to the unseen - a space between worlds, echoing the metaphysical journey found in Carlos Castaneda’s teachings. Layers of digital textures obscure and reveal the terrain like traces of ancient knowledge or dream fragments, invoking the blurred boundary between the tonal (the known) and the nagual (the unknown).

The manipulated surface suggests a map of perception itself - etched with invisible lines of power, altered states, and spiritual geographies. The desert is no longer a mere location, but a field of intent - a space where reality can shift and meaning is not fixed, but fluid.
