Original artwork description:

This is from a series painted plain air on a recent visit to north western Italy. Serralunga d'Alba is about 35miles south of Turin near the wine growing area of Novello and Barolo. A spent a week painting the town, vineyards and sunsets, sometimes in temperatures so hot the paint dried as soon as the brush touched the paper.

Techniques used were the full range of masking, wet in wet washes, dry brush and sharp detail.

All paintings are wrapped and packed in robust card and posted
within one working day in the UK, slightly longer internationally.
