I live by the beach and love the beach! It is of course utterly inspirational and a lot of works originate there, ideas, and just looking at a vast expanse of water settles the mind.
In this mixed media, watercolor with ink and colored pencil, I have tried to capture that, the beauty of a wild beach with the gulls having a good lounge around.

The birds are ever present, the waves, the colors and small minnows, I hope you can almost smell it.
This piece measures 35 cm x 70 cm (14" x 27") and is painted on a piece of warm white, handmade, heavyweight, 300 g, watercolor paper with 4 deckled edges.
I have signed it on the front, and called it "Seagull retreat" .
