Original artwork description:

An impressionist painting of a view seen of the River Tamar near Saltash, behind the China Fleet club.

The painting captures the fleeting moments of the wash and the view, with the wonderful colour seen in Cornwall, in this wonderful light. The plein-air painting was created in 2024, and the chosen frame of the work pulls out the colour of peach, pinks and the grey-green of the trees. The swatches of white with the light blue of the reflected sky on the water really zings with this frame.

A wonderful piece that would go well in any space, contemporary or rustic, with a gorgeous view of the River Tamar that would complement any space.

Beautifully framed piece by Fine Art and Framing.

Materials used:

Acrylic on mixed media paper.
