I had been always a fan of Japanese patterns, fashion and statement colours throw-out the centuries. They had been an inspiration for many artists , like one of my favourites, E A Hornel. I had been studying his pictures a lot in the past weeks, so this painting came to live as an effect of all those inspirations.
