A watercolor painting depicting two red crowned cranes seemingly engaging in an elegant mating dance. I have tried to capture the graceful stance of the birds, the sweeping curves of their necks and the flapping movement of their feathers using loose style watercolor.
The background of the painting is a muted gray with hints of red and sienna, a subtle hue but deep enough to provide the necessary contrast.
The painting has been done on Arches paper and it will ship unframed, rolled up in a sturdy postal tube.
