This study focuses on the iconic statue located in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester. One can only ponder the myriad experiences she has witnessed, standing as a silent observer to the dramatic transformations that have shaped her surroundings amid the city's significant development. To enrich the evolution of this painting, I have completed numerous colour studies and drawings in my studio back in Manchester.
