This is a beautiful landscape painting of Puentedey in the mountains of northern Spain. I tried to capture the scale of the landscape that stretches on behind this beautiful village, home to only around fifty people. I found the rich foliage in the foreground to contrast so nicely with the buildings, and when I look at it, I picture myself sat in the little green garden, espresso in hand.
