This imaginary drawing portrait of a young woman is inspiring by the opera I am singing on for the Christmas holidays : "Le pays du sourire" from Franz lehar.
Absolute and dramatical contrast between orient and occident.

I love the pale skin tone of this Chinese princess : white and indigo blue.

I added Chinese ink to reinforce the contrast between the ground and the skin tone. Basically, this mixed media drawing is in black, white and blue.
