Original artwork description:

Poppy Fields and Faraway Sky expresses the quiet harmony of nature’s open spaces. The field of poppies stretches towards a distant horizon, their crimson petals alive against the vast calm of a clear afternoon sky. This painting is a moment suspended between serenity and motion, a quiet conversation between earth and sky.
An original, one-of-a-kind artwork, this painting is created with acrylic paints on a deep-edged canvas that requires no frame. My process begins with careful observation of the location, making notes and taking photographs to reference later in the studio. From these initial impressions, I work intuitively, first building up base layers with a brush before adding rich, textured impasto layers using a palette knife.
I draw on optical mixing techniques inspired by the Impressionists, along with traditional methods such as scumbling and glazing, continuing to refine the piece until it reaches its natural conclusion. The result is a contemporary work that balances between expressive abstraction and realism. The painting extends around the edges, is signed on the back, and comes ready to hang.
