Original artwork description:

The Dutch coast is on the edge of a huge drowned land: Doggerland. For those who gaze upon the sea today, it is not merely water they see but a world shaped by the power and poetry of rivers—those great, eternal forces that have always defined the land and its people. This disappeared ancient land inspired me to make this artwork.

The artwork is made with acrylics and metallic foil on linnen. The linnen is stretched on an aluminum stretcher.
