This piece is part of an ongoing series called Nature's Portraits, where I focus on the quiet, contemplative presence of a solitary bloom. There is something introspective and almost melancholic about a solitary flower, so I felt compelled to explore this through paint.

The setup is deliberately simple: a plain white jug, a neutral backdrop, and soft lighting that casts gentle shadows. I wanted the flower to feel almost like a sitter in a portrait — held in stillness, observed with reverence. The process was slow and intentional, allowing me to reflect on the beauty of impermanence, solitude, and the emotional resonance a single flower can hold.

This painting is special to me because it captures a fleeting moment of quiet beauty, translated through close observation and the meditative act of painting. It's about finding depth in simplicity — and honoring the poetry in the everyday.

This painting is made with high quality oil paint on a primed wooden board. The painting is signed on the back and the frame is ready to hang but also can easily be framed by a local framer.

Your artwork will be ready for shipment and will be registered within two working days and picked up at the earliest possible collection time.
