The painting "Pink" by Igor Konovalov vividly portrays the overwhelming dominance of digital information in human life. The composition depicts a group of astonished people gazing upward, their expressions a mix of wonder and bewilderment. Above them, the surreal "bunny" particles—symbols of fast-replicating information—float in a vibrant pink sky, emphasizing the omnipresence of data streams that saturate modern life. Konovalov reflects on humanity's fascination and dependency on the constant influx of digital content. The people appear captivated, almost powerless, under the influence of these virtual particles, suggesting that the flow of information has become a spectacle, drawing attention away from reality. The use of the color pink adds a dreamlike, surreal atmosphere, hinting at both the allure and potential danger of losing oneself in the digital landscape. Through this work, the artist challenges viewers to consider the extent to which information controls their lives, questioning whether they are passive observers or active participants in the digital age.
