Original artwork description:
This was done plein air at Newport by the pier. I found a place in the gazebo that was really convenience so my umbrella and hat were not needed. I did this over two days of coming back to the same spot. The second time, the main tree that I really liked was cut back, way back. I choose to stick to my original tree and paint it the way I first saw it.
