Original artwork description:

The painting is a contemporary Paradise Lost metaphor. I imagined paradise, not as a mythical land but as a real space, from which man was not expelled anymore. Humanity controls and unfortunately, systematically alters and finally destroys everything through own irresponsible actions. Human skeletons are symbols of decay and mortality. As humans were not cast out of paradise, they live their entire lives and even die there, suffocating the place they inhabit with their artificial emanations. The snake skeleton is a symbol of our prejudices, of the fact that instead of taking responsibility for our actions, we justify ourselves with supernatural interventions. Evil lives only through us and its traces continue to be seen even after we terminate our existence. The painting is at the same time a tribute to the Renaissance masters who fostered such themes in their works and who stimulated my imagination by a genuine richness of symbols and references, by the patient and delicate approach they used to render plant and animal diversity, exoticism, beauty and fragility of this paradise we live in.
