One of a series of carousel images I've been working on for seven years. Now entering a stage of exploration of deconstruction of images, something I was initially interested in at art school 50 years ago, and has come back to haunt me. From a part of my personal work trying to capture movement and vibration within a still image. This Carousel was on Hastings Pier, UK in 2016.
The process involves taking multiple exposures from different angles and merging them in post production, a process that can take hundreds of hours, and includes indecision, blind alleys, late nights and rejection. This is a 40"x 30" limited edition of 10, printed on Hahnemule Photorag art paper, Using Epson fine art inks.
Epson fine art inks and Hahnemühle Photorag 308gsm fine art paper.
