This painting emerged as an echo of childhood memories. I remember women weaving a carpet—an image that left a deep impression on me as a child. They seemed extraordinary, as if they had come from another, distant world. I tried to capture that feeling in my work. They are both real and unreal, and the entire scene—the carpet, the space—seems to have appeared out of nowhere, from mere patches of color, ready to dissolve back into them at any moment.
