Oil painting Not yet evening Varvarov Anatoly is a powerful contemporary artwork that captures a young boy illuminated by the warm, fading glow of the sun. Through a striking contrast of red and turquoise tones, the artist explores themes of innocence, strength, and the eternal search for meaning. The minimal background emphasizes the figure’s pose and expression — a blend of pride, curiosity, and anticipation — as if standing at the threshold between childhood and self-awareness. Varvarov masterfully combines symbolism and realism, creating an emotionally charged atmosphere. This bold, thought-provoking piece makes a statement in any modern or conceptual art collection.
