Artwork description:

The ceramic mug "NETILATKA" from the "Roots" series is an ode to my roots, embodied in clay. Two handles, like the threads of the Torah, connect the past and the present. The texture of the clay reflects the strength of the promised land, and the smooth glaze - the wisdom of generations. The mug is unique, with subtle variations in shades, recalling the diversity of Jewish history. "NETILATKA" is not just a mug, it is a tactile connection with the heritage that lives in each of us.

Such a mug was in my grandfather's house, and now I keep it. And I decided to make exactly the same in ceramics, only smaller. Now this item is 200 ml.

The peculiarity of this netilatka is two ergonomic handles, located symmetrically on both sides of the body. They not only provide ease of use, but also symbolize the duality and balance characteristic of the Jewish cultural tradition.

This netiltka is not just a utilitarian item, but also an artifact that carries the warmth of Jewish traditions and centuries-old history. It is ideal for collectors who value unique items with cultural and spiritual overtones.

Materials used:

ceramics, glaze
