Moonshine Serenade is one work from a series of paintings inspired by the Sugarloaf in County Wicklow Ireland

I grew up in greystones, County Wicklow and the Sugarloaf is very prominent landmark and always captured my imagination, especially after I was told it was a dormant Volcano as a child!

I always imagined it suddenly erupting and kept an eye on it whenever we drove nearby and through the Glen of The Downs!

The shape of the mountain is striking and I am repeatedly drawn to painting it, I love its sihlouette against the sky, a truly dominating landmark..

This painting is oil on canvas and comes framed as shown and measures 46 x 46 x 3cm framed(40 x 40 x 2 cm unframed)
