Moody Blue – by photographer Nick Psomiadis – Remnants of yesteryear, a once purposeful structure designed and built to prevent sand erosion is now wearing away by the sea. Not much remains of the groyne these days at Mentone beach. Photographed a few years ago I was able to secure a steady position on the structure and capture a very long 15 minute exposure. Today the structure is so loose that standing on alone poses a risk.
