Original artwork description:

Some of my fondest memories with my grand mom include trips to the local fabric store. We would look at all kinds of floral printed fabric…for hours on end. One print in particular caught both of our eyes one day…pink florals atop a midnight blue background; the most intricate of abstract patterns adorning the shapes that interlocked those fluid, loose flowers. We loved it so much, that we bought it by the yard. My grand mom then sewed us both the most gorgeous duvet covers for our beds. And while those duvets have been lost in transit over the decades, the memory of that timeless print has stuck with me all these years. Right before her passing this July, I began this painting. Completing in that same month was one of the best ways I could think of to honor our special bond.

16×20 in size, and painted on canvas in acrylic, ink, and collage. Varnished with an archival satin finish, and ready to hang right out of her box, with the appropriate hardware already attached. Painting is carried over onto the sides of the canvas, so framing is optional, but not necessary. Signed, numbered and dated on the back.
