This is a commissioned oil painting I created for a client who is a passionate music lover. The portrait shows him holding a golden saxophone against a dreamlike backdrop of deep night sky and a calm sea. I used a realistic approach to depict the facial features, texture of the beard, and the shiny brass of the instrument with great care. The surreal blue tones and soft clouds behind him evoke a sense of serenity and emotional depth, suggesting his spiritual connection with music and nature.
