A small artwork with strong contrast, painted with Sennelier oil sticks on heavy special artistic paper "Carte d'Art Sennelier". Sennelier is an historical high quality brand for art furniture.

This painting was made few years ago. As a student painter, I was very influenced by the art of italian painter Caravaggio, painting on chiarroscuro, shadow and light on dark ground. The base of the painting technic : light are opaque, shadows are transparent. The ground is dark brown transparent. Lights are Naples yellow hue. Local tone is natural and burnt sienna. Only warm colors.

The artwork is sold unframed.
