Original artwork description:

Omage to Jacques Fouquet's painting "The Virgin Mary". There are two main ideas in this painting: the first one is a reference in the upper graphic rectangle to Alfred Hitchcock's film of the same name "The Birds", he shot this movie during the Cuban Missile Crisis and put the global danger of nuclear war in the image of birds, reflecting on the theme of a global catastrophe. And the second main idea where Madonna in this picture with a baby leopard and not a human is a kind of emphasis on the tendency of people/in general any culture to fetishize holy images and equate holy images with cults of real people of mass culture. As a result, creating a disturbing image of the Madonna, revealing the transience of moods and trends in the modern world
