The painting titled "Living Water" depicts a dynamic scene centered around a body of water that appears to swirl into a vortex. The composition is dominated by a large circular form, which can be interpreted as a well or a natural spring, with water gushing into it, creating ripples and waves. In the midst of this turbulent water is a solitary paper boat, its fragility contrasted against the powerful motion of the water. A sturdy branch or pole intersects the scene, perhaps implying an attempt to reach or retrieve the paper boat.

The meaning of "Living Water" could be multifaceted. On one level, it may represent the unpredictable and often uncontrollable nature of life itself—depicted through the tumultuous water, which is traditionally seen as a life-giving force, yet here also presents a certain danger to the delicate paper boat. The title could suggest that the water is not just physically alive with movement, but also metaphorically alive with possibility and danger.

In a broader context, considering the title and the potential symbolism of the paper boat—which often represents hopes and dreams—the painting may be speaking to the resilience required to navigate life's challenges. The "living water" could be a metaphor for life's trials and tribulations that one must withstand and overcome to carry on with their journey. The serene colors and the dynamic movement of the water also evoke a sense of both peace and turmoil, suggesting the dual nature of life's experiences.
