My art explores the strangeness and intellectual beauty of the natural world, inspired by science fiction and surrealist art. I'm attracted to things that are unexpected and weird, especially the shapes and textures of organic objects. My work often incorporates asymmetrical forms, creepy creatures, and exotic landscapes. Through my paintings, I try to establish a visual dialogue between the organic and the mechanical, exploring the tension and harmony between these seemingly distinct elements. I like to try to juxtapose nature and technology and blur the lines between the two. I take inspiration from the textures and patterns of natural objects such as mushrooms and insects, and use that as a starting point to create complex, multi-layered compositions. I mainly use oil and acrylic paints on canvas, using a variety of techniques to create texture and depth. My goal is to make the viewer feel a sense of contradiction and tension, challenging their cognition of nature and artificial objects. Ultimately, I want to encourage a deeper appreciation of the beauty and complexity of the world around us, pay attention to the small and subtle things, and inspire viewers to see the surroundings in a whole new way.
