Original artwork description:

In L’abbraccio (The Embrace), I wanted to capture that one moment when everything else disappears — when two people stop dancing and simply exist, together.
I painted this couple from the back, not to hide them, but to reveal what really matters: the closeness, the heat, the silent pact. His face emerges from the dark in vibrant blues and violets, while she glows in warm reds and golds. Opposites, yes — but melting into each other.

The pixels almost dissolve the boundaries between them. Their edges blur, their colors overlap — because we are never just “I”, but always “we”. Like the millions of organisms that make up our bodies, identity is shared, fluid, made of encounters.

My palette knife builds their story square by square, layer by layer. They are fragmented, but not broken. Sometimes, wholeness is born from the pieces we choose to share.
This painting is part of my Life Dances series, a tribute to movement, intimacy, and the many ways we find connection in a noisy world.
