Artwork description:

This hand printed relief etching which I hand coloured, making it totally unique was inspired by a stone sculpture in the British Museum in London.
I have long been fascinated by how humans visually express what they wish and yearn for. The Kamadhenu is 'the cow of plenty' granting you all you wish for in Hinduism.

I drew it in the museum and produced a relief etching plate which I then ink up by hand and put through the press in my garden studio.

Materials used:

Acid free cotton paper, ink, water colour
