In the afternoon, the mountains cast long shadows. The mood and the colours suddenly change - while everywhere else the landscape is bathed in warm light, the shadows appear colourless and pale. I wanted to capture this special time of day with this picture. Thanks to its elongated shape and strong colours, it fits particularly well on narrow walls that otherwise receive little attention.
