An unobvious and intriguing blend between contemporary gestural painting and surreal illustration - particularly hi energy and good somewhat lighthearted vibration here in my own perception of the composition.
The work is in oil on linen canvas mounted on board. Likely the thickest impasto I've ever done - you can see at the angled photos of the work a very significant relief in some areas - adds to the painting's presence and gives it a nice 3dimensional feel.
The work is varnished with a layer of damar resin for protection as well as a nice glossy finish.
