The purpose of my series of paintings "Women" is to show the image of a woman not only in the usual lyrical-poetic perspective, but also her inspiration and integrity, as well as the interconnection of earthly and cosmic energies through work. The fact is that despite the sometimes hard work that many women in Ukraine are forced to do, it is important for them to be able to maintain the core of femininity and sensitivity necessary to achieve balance.

At all times, women have invested in the ornaments of towels, carpets, embroidered clothes, etc. not only beauty, but also a subtle spiritual symbolic meaning; they laid down the signs of the region and their kind. The ornament is the genetic code of the nation, which combines the past with the present.

A woman-protector, a woman-mother, a woman-life-giver, through her sensuality and work fills and enriches the Universe with meanings.

In my opinion, the main meaning is to love every moment in which we live. This should be our attitude to everything that happens to us and around us, as to something bigger, grander. Love should fill every event, every moment of our life.

The painting "Grapes" is dedicated to a very beautiful process of women's work - grape picking.
