This dark gothic style piece is a fusion of sacred iconography and urban surrealism, the try to reimagine the sorrowful Madonna against a neon Tokyo cityscape. Tears of red and black stream down her face, crowned by glowing stars and adorned with a bleeding red rose - symbolizing grief, love, and resilience in a dark modern world.

Also I was strongly inspired by my experience of living in Mexico were is religious iconography is a part of everyday life.
