A portrait from my imagination - although I did paint the apples and leaves from reality.
The painting started with a pencil sketch of a female in a pose that interested me. The image developed as I thought of additional elements to include.
I was also inspired by historic paintings which place a window behind a portrait or figure in a painting, with a distant landscape in view.
