Artwork description: Many of my works are centered on bringing awareness to the challenges our planet faces due to human effects. Sequoia National Park in central California is one of the spotlights of the Golden Coast, and one of the most peaceful places on this earth. Over the past five years, however, the park has been scarred by endless wildfires, and much of it stands now as a "ghost forest," stark landscapes of black and white trees sticking up like toothpicks in the earth. In this darkness, however, lies a still beauty. The park is still holding on, the trees are still standing, and the flowers continue to bloom. It is a testament to the strength of our planet and a reminder that nature always finds a way. On a technical note, all of my prints come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. My prints are meant to be viewed large, and thus I only print larger formats. I believe that framing is a very individual preference and must be adapted to the space, which is why I sell prints only. I personally also love to see my images in their new homes, so please send me a photo of them hung if you wish! Other larger sizes available on request. Materials used: 308g Hahnemühle Photorag Giclée paper Note: This paper is to be handled delicately, and attempts should be made to avoid touching or rubbing the images on the front-printed side.
