Original artwork description:

Freedom II is part of my Waterworks series.

In my FREEDOM mini-series I aim to represent liberation and connection with nature, and water, in particular. I try to convey the idea of vulnerability and freedom, emphasizing the transformative and cleansing qualities of water, asking viewers to contemplate their own relationship with nature and the profound sense of liberation that can comes from immersing oneself in it.

This painting was made with oil paints on a cradled wood panel, which does not require framing, as the sides are painted.
