Part of a series I created 2 years ago that explored the image of Francis bacon and the playful sound of his name 'France is Bacon'. I wanted to see what else France could be. I used a screen print of a charcoal drawing to create the base image, then painted over various iterations. In total it was a series of 15 pieces. Only three are left, this one and two that are available through Clarendon Fine Art.
