This is one of my Odessa plein air sketches. I was inspired by the clouds that were moving in from the sea. It was as if they came to visit the stones. It was very magical. It seemed that the stones became light like clouds and floated in the water. And vice versa. The approaching clouds became heavier and heavier, and there was a feeling that pebbles would fall from the sky. This is such a dialogue of heavy and light)
My art is created in an expressionist manner, drawing upon the solid foundations of the realistic and impressionist schools of painting. The painting was made using high-quality oil paints and is presented on a canvas that has been pre-stretched over a wooden frame. It arrives ready for display, complete with painted edges.
