This is a self portrait of my body, completed in pastel, on paper. This artwork was completed during quarantine, partly because of a lack of other subjects, and partly to experiment and look at myself introspectively. The gesture lines on the image are used to highlight the emotion of the subject. The resulting image is a dimly lit figure on a dark background, in a realistic, yet expressive style.
