Original artwork description:

The Dutch coast is on the edge of a huge drowned land: Doggerland. The most fertile part of Doggerland was the river valley. It was greener and warmer than the surrounding plains. In winter, the river froze, but in spring, the melting ice caused floods, enriching the soil along its banks. This created a thriving ecosystem for plants and animals. In contrast, the land further away from the river was colder and barer.

This Doggerland served as inspiration for this artwork. The artwork is made with acrylics, paper and metallic foil on linnen. The artwork is stretched on a wooden stretcher and framed in a blank wooden frame.

Materials used:

acrylics, linnen, papaer, metallic foil,
