“Disney Sucks” is a bold, tongue-in-cheek street art parody featuring a world-weary, cigarette-smoking Mickey Mouse spray-painting the provocative phrase “Disney Sucks” across a graffiti-covered wall. His disillusioned expression gives the piece a raw, humorous, and slightly cynical look at pop culture, fame, and the icons we grew up with.

Created in mixed media with acrylic, spray paint, ink, textures, drips, and hand-drawn elements, this original artwork bursts with colour and street-art energy. Layers of graffiti tags and paint splashes build a gritty urban atmosphere, while the bright palette keeps the piece fun, rebellious, and full of personality.

Ross Hendrick is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans the worlds of comic art, illustration, and street art. With a career rooted in humour and bold visual storytelling, he has drawn comic strips for two of the UK’s most iconic publications—The Beano and Viz—bringing laughter to many with sharp wit and instantly recognisable style.
Beyond the pages of comics, he has illustrated books, greeting cards, and celebrity caricatures, showcasing a versatile hand and a knack for capturing personality with flair. As a street artist, he merges pop culture with a rebellious urban energy, creating vivid, graffiti-inspired pop art paintings, often with a humorous and satirical take on modern life.
Also an animator, his short films have been showcased in film festivals around the world. He celebrates the history of animation recreating classic cartoon characters with paintings of classic characters with his signature drippy street art style, combining interesting juxtapositions between different eras.
